We paid the Inn a visit for lunch and found an extensive menu, with dishes to suit all budgets and a substantial wine list to match. Team this with friendly, efficient service and a casual warm ambience, what’s not to like?
The fish of the day was great with crisp battered fillets and what would have to be described as some of the best chips on earth – crispy textured outside, fluffy, yet creamy on the inside! Oh, and a very nice side salad. Our other choices included the fillet steak, with smashed chats (of course) and a delicious mushroom sauce and the pulled chicken burger on a crunchy roll, alongside a generous serve of those wonderful chips!
I’d have to say, we were pretty satisfied, sadly no room for dessert, however the desserts on offer were really appealing, particularly the brulee (always a favourite).
Blaxland Inn also offer a complimentary shuttle service within the local area, so when booking be sure to enquire (as bookings are essential) so that you can truly Unwind and relax and leave the job of getting home or back to your accommodation to them!
